If you don't mind it being only text then i strongly recommend this game. edit: Well now it works for some reason! Very good, definitely a worthy follow up to one of the best CoG games around.. I really wanted to like this, but I became increasingly frustrated by the lack of choice or adventure. It starts out really intense with alot of decisions you can make. But the further you get into it the fewer decisions you have. There's just so much lore and exposition, it just takes all the fun outta this CYOA game. Pros:-Romance options. -Intrigue.-Life or death decisions.-Earn money and spend it on things.-Earn reputation and use it on things. -Next book looks interesting.Cons:-Starting the game immediately lowers your reputation, wtf? I worked really hard for that =(-Some decisions seem big, but don't affect your stats. Why is it even an option then? -So much exposition by the end. Got very bored. -The epilogue doesn't give you anything to do, despite the game setting up several things you could do or resolve. -Disappointed by lack of decisions regarding your command. The game describes you constantly doing paperwork, but you rarely make decisions that will affect your command. There's got to be something I could be doing. Final Verdict:-If you played the first game you might as well play this one too. But I caution you: The first few chapters are amazing, but it deteriorates into a snooze fest by the end.. It is an excellent sequal, but still plays well on its own, but after replaying several times you will be convinced to buy the first installment sabres of infinity. Gradually making your way up the ranks, becoming more and more involved, powerful and influentual. It is a thrilling expirence and I thoughly enjoyed it. Really looking forward to the next book and seeing where my choices take me and the country my Dragoon officer is sworn to protect.. Lots of fun for readers. Really sets the scene and gives the illusion of control (for the most part), with lots of paths to take. Give it a try!. As a big fan of series such as Hornblower and Sharpe's Rifles I absolutely love this game and its predecessor. I was a bit dubious at first because of the magical element but it honestly isn't brought up that often making the game mostly about tactics and military politics with an additional focus on how the player character develops over the course of the war.
